DIY Necklaces

I made myself a necklace display a few months ago with a vintage frame and some thrifted lace. (Similar to this but with a full lace backing instead of wire.) It looks great on my wall instead of hidden away in a jewellery box. I bought a second frame to make another one and I'll be needing more necklaces to fill it with. I'd love to see all these hanging up soon.

This is such a happy looking necklace.
I think it would go perfectly with a floral shift and a messy updo.

There are so many possibilities as to the shapes you could make.

I love a full, bold necklace.
I'm sure I have some old costume jewellery around that could use a punchy makeover.

Another great tutorial from a Pair and a Spare.
She has some amazing things on her blog.
I recommend you check it out.

This looks like an easy enough project.
I'll definitely be adding this to my necklace collection.

Wall Art

I am absolutely in LOVE with colourful, busy walls. The more stuff, the better in my opinion. I'm collecting pictures, prints, clippings and whatnot to make my own beautiful wall.

I adore the wallpaper behind these shelves.
I'm considering doing this to my bookshelves but in a more punchy pattern.

I would be absolutely beside myself if this was in my house.
Wall of books? Check. Freakin' ladder? Check.
I'd feel like Belle.

The colors. The mish mash of items. It's perfect.

Everything about this is fantastic.

These plates are so beautiful.
Unfortunately, I can never find plates like this when I go thrifting.

I can't remember where I found these but they're ah-may-zing.
(If you know, let me know so I can credit.)
I'm determined to try these as a DIY. They will be on my wall one day!

DIY Clutches and Bags

I've never been much of a purse kind of girl. (I'll admit, I carry all my stuff around in a reusable tote I stole from my boyfriend.) I keep coming across the cutest tote tutorials and I'm really excited to give one a try. Here are a few that are at the top of my list to try.

This is another glitter clutch tutorial I found.

Isn't this bag adorable? I'd love to make one in every color.

This bag makes me want to run out to the thrift store and pick up and bunch of clutches to personalize. This super cute DIY can be found here.

This is another thrift bag makeover that I found. Great color but I wonder about the paint chipping off. I'll have to give it a try and see how it works out.

A great bow clutch sewing tutorial with clear, easy to follow instructions.
